Molana Qazi Noor Muhammad

(Pioneer)

Pioneer of the Jamia, Maulana Qazi Noor Muhammad was born in District Atock. He was certified from world’s leading Islamic institute, Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband, India. He completed his studies under the supervision of renowned scholars, Alama Anwer Shah Kashmiri and Maulana Ghulam Rasool.

In 1923, he was appointed as Khateeb in Markazi Masjid, Qila Didar Singh. In 1930, he formally started teaching of Islamic studies in Markazi Masjid, hence foundation stone of Jamia Muhammadia was laid down. He died in June, 1962. His dedicated efforts for the noble cause shall remain memorable forever.
